Dear Brothers and Sisters,

The WestRock Community (Westchester and Rockland Counties, NY) is seeking a full-time and/or part-time Youth Minister with a love for teenagers. The youth minister would be responsible for developing and directing a broad-based and exciting ministry plan of programming and personal outreach to a large community of BC teens. The job begins in late August/early September, 2006.

The Youth Minister would be expected to:

Direct a team of peer ministers and assistant leaders.
Oversee diverse programs including the Il Shim
Communicate with a parental group.
Assess the needs of a diverse youth population.
Develop a training program for staff.
Communicate and hold scheduled meetings with the Senior Pastor.
Be willing to be trained in youth ministry.
Create a youth ministry of joy and excitement.
The chosen candidate will be part of a supportive network of committed families.
The Youth Ministry position is a salaried position.
